Privacy and the 7-day deletion policy

Exactly what we store, for how long, and what is removed.

   Uploaded manuscripts are stored in a private bucket with per-user access rules. No other customer can read your files, and public access is disabled at the bucket level.

   Seven days after upload, the original file, the extracted text and any processing cache are permanently deleted. This is not a soft delete.

   On day 5 you receive a reminder in your notifications so you can download anything you still need.

   Generated reports are retained in your account because they contain no manuscript text beyond short illustrative excerpts.

   You can delete any manuscript, and its stored file, immediately at any time from My Manuscripts.
