Reading your report

What each score means and how to prioritise the findings.

   The overall score is a weighted composite of writing quality, structure, readability, formatting readiness, metadata strength and risk exposure. Treat anything below 70 as needing work before publication.

   Category scores tell you where to spend your time. A high writing score with a low formatting score means your book is good and your file is not.

   Issues are ranked by severity: high, medium and low. High-severity issues are things that will affect readers or your listing. Low-severity issues are polish.

   Recommendations are written as actions, not observations, so each one can be worked and ticked off.

   The checklist at the end is your pre-publication gate. Every report is stamped with the policy version and last-updated date used to generate it.
